Prior to a redesign of the bank’s image, a challenging project to redesign and modernise a very dated looking website with little to no changes to the underlying code due to the website being heavily integrated into numerous outside clients which rely on the site to provide data to be further parsed.

By altering the graphics to a unified colour palette and by simplifying the structure (4 column to just 3 columns- navigation, content, vital data), a cleaner and more modern look was achieved. There was no change to the site navigation or data sources other than typography and graphics. The new layout allows for a more consistent structure and greater space for rich content.

The final effect is a website consistent with the new NBP branding and in line with more current design trends. Additionally, tools for the sigh impaired and for social media integration have been implemented.
